As of September 18, 2023, Chr. Hansen had two shareholders, which held 5% or more of the share capital, and two shareholders, which held 5% or more of the voting rights.
In August 2022, an analysis of the shareholder structure showed that the United States, Denmark and the United Kingdom represent the largest regional groups of institutional investors. Around 6% of shares were held by retail investors. To meet certain obligations to deliver shares under management incentive programs, Chr. Hansen held less than 1% in treasury stock.
