L. plantarum, PPLP-217

Lifelong healthy development begins in infancy

The period from conception to a child’s second birthday offers a unique window of opportunity to shape lifelong health.1 This period plays a pivotal role in fostering healthy growth, as well as nurturing the development of a healthy gut and the immune system; three areas that are intricately connected and associated with health throughout life.2

Chr. Hansen’s probiotic strain L. plantarum, PPLP-217

Isolated from the diaper of a healthy infant, the probiotic strain L. plantarum, PPLP-217 combined with prebiotic fructooligosaccharide (FOS) efficiently colonizes the infant gastrointestinal tract and supports gut health, immune health and healthy growth in infants and toddlers.

L. plantarum, PPLP-217 may support health in infants and toddlers

  • Support healthy growth-for-age in infants and toddlers6, 8

Clinical studies documenting benefits of L. plantarum, PPLP-217
