Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration & Economics from the University of Aarhus, Denmark (1993).
Lise Skaarup Mortensen joined Chr. Hansen in October 2020 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this Ms. Mortensen was CFO at Microsoft Germany.
Ms. Mortensen started her professional career in 1993 where she joined BG Bank as a management trainee and three years later became assistant vice president, Board and Executive Secretariat. In 1998, Ms. Mortensen joined A.P. Moller - Maersk, where she served as General Manager at Maersk Data Group for six years.
In 2004, Ms. Mortensen joined IBM as Nordic CFO for Integrated Technology Delivery. Following her time with IBM, Ms. Mortensen joined CityMail Denmark in 2008 where she served as CFO for two years before joining Microsoft in 2010. During her tenure at Microsoft, Ms. Mortensen held various international senior leadership positions in India and Germany.
Ms. Mortensen serves as a Chair of the Board of Directors of Bacthera Denmark A/S (Denmark) and as a member of the Board of Directors of Bacthera AG (Switzerland), Dovista A/S (Denmark) and Vizrt Group (Norway).
