Chr. Hansen's performance is driven by the diversity, engagement and passion of our employees.

Ensuring a safe working environment is a key priority for Chr. Hansen. We work diligently towards our strategy of “Two in Twenty” through our behavior-based safety concept, Take 5. It reminds people to continuously be aware of  safety in everything they do and pay attention to those simple things that the brain tends to forget. The concept is rolled out across all global production sites. 

Diversity and inclusion at Chr. Hansen

Recognizing the importance of a diverse workforce in delivering better business results and ensuring access to talent, Chr. Hansen has defined a number of targets reflecting gender, age, nationality and different levels of seniority. To support the targets, different initiatives have been outlined to ensure further integration of diversity and inclusion, for example mandatory quarterly dashboards and discussions to advance awareness of the topic at divison level.
