How long have you been with Chr. Hansen?

I just started my Ph.D. program this summer of 2015 and so I am still new here in Chr. Hansen. However, I’ve heard many good things about the company from my co-students at DTU and I am curious to embark on this journey writing my Ph.D. for the next three years.

What is your research project about?

It is about consistent scale-up of the freeze-drying processes. Could sound a bit nerdy, but for a bioengineer like me this is how exciting it gets.

What makes it attractive for you to be in a PHD partnership with Chr. Hansen?

During my studies I always felt inspired to contribute to the development of science but at the same time I wanted to go to the “real world”. Being at Chr. Hansen gives me the opportunity to have both: realize my desire and ambition to drive innovations and while also differentiating research in an industrial perspective.

What can Chr. Hansen offer you that are unique?

For a bioengineer like me it doesn't get any more exciting. Being surrounded by such experienced and knowledgeable colleagues inspires me, and gives me the opportunity to develop as a professional.

How will you describe Chr. Hansen’s culture?

I would describe our culture with five words: open, dynamic, caring, creative and energetic.
