A milestone was reached in the 1970's, when we invented highly concentrated and standardized cheese cultures (DVS). DVS cultures offer the producer flexibility, convenience and consistency in the production process - and they need no activation or other treatment prior to use.
Today our most valuable commodity is know-how within applications and process control and we work closely with our customers in development projects. Some of the largest dairies in the world take advantages of our innovative solutions aimed at high volumes and short product cycles. We also offer flavor adjunct cultures for innovative, new taste directions, while other customers, with more traditional productions, prefer our traditional culture range.
To meet the growing consumer demand for safe and natural foods and, consequently, to reduce the addition of chemical preservatives, natural preservatives based on bacteriocins have been added to the product range. Besides cultures and coagulants, we provide today's cheese industry with a full range of quality ingredients, including natural colors.
