







The product developed in collaboration with USANA contains two of the world's best documented probiotic strains, BB-12® and LGG®. The clinical documentation is an important part of creating a probiotic product that works.

"We entered into collaboration with Chr. Hansen to introduce a new probiotic product that would meet our demands for quality and efficacy.
Our USANA Probiotic is unlike competing products because it contains two strains of specific probiotic bacteria, clinically documented to survive the harsh acidic environment of the stomach" explains Dr. John Cuomo from USANA and continues:

First and foremost, we found the documentation of the probiotic strains very important, but equally important are the efficacy, stability and clean packaging of the product. Combining these features, we have succeeded in developing a finished product which has not only excellent clinical support, but also provides benefits to the customer."

Hansen, as a positive experience and refers in particular to an outstanding customer service where every request was rapidly addressed. This was a necessity to meet the extremely tight project deadlines.

and documentation for registrations while still benefiting from a rapid turnaround in production", explains Dr. Cuomo. "We were able to get what we needed with our design even though we are located thousands of miles away from Chr. Hansen's production facility.
