Chr. Hansen's most recent clinical study has just been e-published in the acknowledged British Journal of Nutrition.
The study documents that Chr. Hansen's probiotic bacteria strains BB-12® and L. casei 431® are an effective means to support the immune system. Key findings of the study show that daily consumption of BB-12® or L. casei 431® strengthens the immune system, and thus may improve the body's defense against common infections such as flu and colds.

Chr. Hansen performed the first clinical studies more than 20 years ago with the aim of documenting the beneficial effect of our probiotics. Since then, the scientific community have shown tremendous interest in Chr. Hansen's probiotic strains, which means that today several hundred studies have been conducted on Probio-Tec® strains.
