A balanced development of the microbial community in the gastrointestinal tract makes piglets less susceptible to coliform overgrowth resulting in reduced diarrhea and less intestinal issues. Both factors improve animal performance and efficiency.
Our products for piglets can be pelleted and mixed into the feed or they can be applied through the water system. We also have a range of pastes for the suckling piglet.
Probiotics - also known as direct-fed-microbials (DFM’s) - are beneficial live microbials which help the host animal improve the intestinal microbial balance. Probiotics originate from Latin meaning ‘for life’.
