New bacteria strain technology and combinations have helped us create our new and innovative inoculant product line called SiloSolve®. The new SiloSolve® range of inoculants is engineered to address specific on-farm ensiling challenges. Traditionally, silage inoculants have been designed to treat particular crops. Chr. Hansen takes this con­cept one step further by focusing on the functional­ity of the silage inoculants in relation to the com­position of crops. This concept is implemented in the new SiloSolve® line of silage inoculants. Crops with high sugar and low protein, ensiled at high dry matter concentrations may result in heating of the silage at feed out. Low sugar and high protein crops ensiled with low dry matter concentrations may result in poor fermentation. The diagram below shows how this crop to dry matter matrix looks.
