Animal health products expand into Belarus

Chr. Hansen’s in-feed probiotic BioPlus®2B for pigs enters the Belarus market via a distribution agreement with Biocom Ltd.

BioPlus®2B is the first microbial feed additive that obtained final EU registration and the second of the Chr. Hansen animal health products to be sold in Belarus via Biocom. Biomax®, a silage inoculant containing natural lactid acid bacteria for efficient livestock production, has been on the market the last 2 years.

BioPlus®2B contains naturally occurring probiotic bacteria - selected by Chr. Hansen - that improve the intestinal microbial balance of pigs. It helps increase live weight gain and improves feed conversion.
