New CFO appointed

Klaus Pedersen will join Chr. Hansen as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on October 1. 2011 At the same time he becomes a member of the Executive Board of Chr. Hansen Holding A/S.

Klaus Pedersen (43) comes from a position as CFO at The Danish National Railways (DSB). Before joining DSB Group, Klaus Pedersen held various key-positions at executive level at TDC A/S, latest as Senior Executive Vice President and member of the Group management. Klaus Pedersen holds a MSc in Business Economics from Aarhus Business School.

“Klaus has a strong financial background from national as well as international positions, a solid commercial mind-set combined with a vast leadership experience. All competencies that are well suited to Chr. Hansen and I am happy to welcome Klaus onboard,” says Lars Frederiksen, CEO.

Chr. Hansen's Executive Board will consist of Lars Frederiksen, Henning Jakobsen (until 30 September 2011), Knud Vindfeldt, Henrik Dalbøge, Carsten Hellmann, Carsten Bennike, Jesper Allentoft and Klaus Pedersen (from 1 October 2011).
