Chr. Hansen is actively entering into partnerships with researchers and biotech companies with innovative projects within our specialized fields. Partnerships can start in all stages of a project – from joined research in the early discovery phases to in-licensing of fully developed products.

As a world leader within bacterial strains, we have the expertise throughout the value chain, from research to sales and support, and this enables us to offer a qualified partnership at all maturity stages of a project.

If an interesting strain has been identified, the development and clinical studies can be done in collaboration with the experts in our R&D departments.

We can also help with the formulation into different forms of dosage, such as capsules, application into final food products, the legal aspects and perhaps most importantly: Bringing the product to the market.

During the 1990s the work of Dr. Reid and Dr. Bruce resulted in a successful probiotic women’s health concept.

Chr. Hansen has in-licensed the concept, and distributed it to customers in the business.

The scientific work of the founders continuously adds value to the concept, and Chr. Hansen and UREX joins forces at sales seminars and presentations.
