Chr. Hansen established its offices in Bogotá in 2005, from which the Andean Pact and Central America Regional office operates. The facilities include an application laboratory, warehouse and the main sales and administration office from which we provide technical support to our customers.
Chr. Hansen previously supplied the Colombian market for more than 20 years through local distributors. Now we are closer to our customers sharing our expertise with the local market directly, and serving 16 other markets, among them Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Belize, Honduras, Guatemala and Guyana.
The location imports finished products from Chr. Hansen affiliates all over the world, aiming at satisfying the needs of the dairy, meat, processed foods and food and beverage industries. By creating value through working partnerships, Chr. Hansen Colombia offers much more than high quality ingredients: creativity, knowledge of product development, production processes, application and consumer trends are what the Colombian industry can expect to receive, working together to create unique food solutions.
