Our markets
In Quilmes -Province of Buenos Aires-, you'll find Chr. Hansen's production plant for natural colors, enzymes & coagulants for the Food Industry along with our Customer Service Department. We also import finished goods from Chr. Hansen affiliates worldwide.
Chr. Hansen Argentina is responsible for the food market in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay. We cover this extensive area through our sales force, representatives and distributors.

Our history
Chr. Hansen established its presence in Argentina during the 1920's through its agent, Christensen & Thomsen. In 1963, a production plant for bovine rennet was installed in Quilmes. This was the beginning of Laboratorio Chr. Hansen SAIC. Since 1977, Chr. Hansen has been present with continuous technical assistance and the most varied product range for the whole food industry.
