When Sonia Sola came to Chr. Hansen, she started with a small business in the color division. But little by little they promoted the business and made it grow. Now Sonia Sola is proudly responsible for two divisions, and with a team of unsurpassable individuals.

My job

As business manager for Meat & Prepared foods and Food & Beverages in Spain I am in charge of everything that has to do with the Spanish customers in these industries. But my job is not restricted to Spain alone.

As part of an international company that is very accustomed to working with different cultures, I can always draw on my colleagues from all over the world for inspiration and help. For instance when I develop sales strategies or adapt products and applications to the Spanish market, I am daily in contact with colleagues from other parts of the company, and I have to say that it is very enriching.

My responsibilities

My primary responsibility is to reach the budget! But to be able to do that, I personally think it is essential to have a team that is united and happy in its responsibilities and worries. Each person has different needs, depending on character and private life. To achieve equilibrium between work and private life is a challenge in itself. I think that at this moment all members of my team have done so.

My motivation

I like a dynamic job, creative and with attainable challenges, and all this I have at Chr. Hansen. I am also grateful for the open dialogue that the company has. For me it is important that any request for improving a professional or personal situation is considered. This is a great help to maintain a very good team.
