Morten Meldgaard has been with Chr. Hansen for more than 10 years. He has had many different jobs with exciting challenges from analysis of dairy cultures, implementation of a purification process for chymosin in production scale and development of Chr. Hansen's project office to establishment of the global dairy culture range and implementation of a global product document system.

My job

Most of my time is spent managing projects. These projects have taken me to almost all corners of the company and given me a chance to learn about our product ranges and the challenges the people in the various parts of the organization face.

My responsibility

I am responsible for providing tools for project management, project courses and facilitation of individual projects. I enjoy very much the project courses that take place approx. every six months. They give me a chance to share my knowledge and experience and to get to know people from all over the organization that I would not otherwise meet.

My motivation

I am very motivated by working together with dedicated and enthusiastic colleagues to identify needs in the organization and together with them develop solutions to meet these needs. I have realized that alone a person can do only so much, but together, e.g., in projects, we are able to archieve great things. In projects I find it very satisfying to coordinate the activities, see things happen and be part of moving the company to higher levels.

For me Chr. Hansen has always been open to initiatives and allowed me to take on new challenges. It is very seldom that a manager's door is closed, even at the highest level.
