Improving our environmental, health and safety performance is a key element in Chr. Hansen's strategy. To learn more, download our environmental report at the bottom of this page.

Over the past two years we have strengthened the framework for our environmental, health and safety efforts. We have also rolled out the Lean principles at our most important production sites in Denmark, USA, Brazil and France, and improvement records are already showing a positive effect within these areas.

Every year we are launching numerous initiatives around the globe with a view to a more effective utilization of resources. This year it has a resulted in a continued increase of our energy performance.
